Indications
- Dental pain and pain following extraction or minor oral surgery
- Back pain, joint pain, sprains, strains and other soft-tissue injury
- Post-operative and post-traumatic pain and inflammation
- Dysmenorrhoea and other acute painful conditions
- Pain associated with fever, as assessed by a physician
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity to diclofenac, paracetamol, aspirin or any other NSAID, including aspirin-sensitive asthma or urticaria
- Active or recurrent peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation
- Severe hepatic impairment, severe renal impairment, severe heart failure, or pain management around coronary artery bypass surgery
- Third trimester of pregnancy; use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only on specific medical advice
Side effects
- Nausea, dyspepsia, heartburn or epigastric pain
- Diarrhoea, constipation or abdominal discomfort
- Headache, dizziness or drowsiness
- Rash, itching or other hypersensitivity reactions
- Uncommonly, gastrointestinal bleeding, raised liver enzymes, fluid retention or a rise in blood pressure
