Rx Pain & InflammationIndications
- Dental pain, including pain after extraction or minor oral surgery
- Musculoskeletal pain such as sprains, strains, low back pain and soft-tissue injury
- Post-operative and post-traumatic pain
- Painful inflammatory conditions accompanied by fever
- Symptomatic relief of pain and stiffness in osteoarthritic and rheumatic conditions, as assessed by a physician
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity to diclofenac, paracetamol, aspirin or any other NSAID, including aspirin-sensitive asthma, urticaria or rhinitis
- Active or recurrent peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation
- Severe hepatic impairment, severe renal impairment or severe heart failure, and pain management around coronary artery bypass surgery
- Third trimester of pregnancy; use in pregnancy, breastfeeding or in children only if a physician specifically advises it
Side effects
- Nausea, epigastric discomfort, dyspepsia or heartburn
- Abdominal pain, diarrhoea or constipation
- Headache, dizziness or drowsiness
- Skin rash, itching or other hypersensitivity reactions
- Uncommonly, gastrointestinal bleeding, raised liver enzymes, fluid retention or a rise in blood pressure; seek medical advice if these occur

What is ALLO-P tablet used for?
ALLO-P is prescribed for the short-term relief of acute pain and inflammation, such as dental pain, sprains and strains, low back pain, post-operative or post-traumatic pain, and painful conditions accompanied by fever. Your physician decides whether it is appropriate for your condition.
What is the composition of ALLO-P tablet?
Each tablet contains Diclofenac Potassium 50 mg and Paracetamol 325 mg. Diclofenac potassium is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug and paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic, so the two act through different pathways.
Should ALLO-P be taken on an empty stomach?
NSAID-containing tablets are generally advised with or after food to reduce gastric irritation, but the timing, dose and duration for ALLO-P are set by your physician. Take it exactly as directed and tell your doctor if you have a history of ulcers or acidity.
