Frequently asked questions

What is Diclomist Plus Tab used for?

Diclomist Plus is prescribed for acute pain and inflammation, including dental pain, back and joint pain, sprains and strains, post-operative or post-traumatic pain, dysmenorrhoea, and painful conditions with fever. Your physician decides if it suits your condition.

Is Diclomist Plus the tablet form of Diclomist Injection?

They belong to the same brand family and share diclofenac sodium as the anti-inflammatory active. Diclomist Plus is an oral tablet that also contains paracetamol 325 mg, while the Diclomist ampoules are sterile diclofenac sodium injections given by a healthcare professional.

Can I take another paracetamol tablet with Diclomist Plus?

Each Diclomist Plus tablet already contains Paracetamol IP 325 mg, so taking additional paracetamol-containing medicines at the same time risks exceeding the safe daily limit. Check with your physician or pharmacist before combining any fever or cold preparation with it.
