Frequently asked questions

What is Nimumic Cold & Flu Max used for?

It is prescribed to adults for short-term relief of common cold and influenza-like symptoms together: nasal blockage, sneezing and a running nose, alongside fever, sore throat, headache and body ache. A physician decides whether it is appropriate for you.

How is Nimumic Cold & Flu Max different from Nimumic Plus?

Nimumic Plus is a two-molecule analgesic and antipyretic tablet. Nimumic Cold & Flu Max adds a decongestant, an antihistamine and caffeine for the nasal and catarrhal symptoms of a cold. Both contain nimesulide 100 mg, so they must never be taken together.

Can children take Nimumic Cold & Flu Max?

No. Nimesulide is approved in India for adults only and must not be given to children below twelve years of age. Ask a paediatrician for an age-appropriate cold preparation rather than splitting or adjusting an adult tablet.
