No. They are different brands. Montymist-LC is an adult film-coated tablet containing Montelukast 10 mg with Levocetirizine 5 mg. Montysolv LC Junior is a paediatric syrup at half those strengths – 4 mg and 2.5 mg per 5 ml. The brand stems Montysolv and Montymist are not interchangeable.
The syrup is available as a 30 ml bottle and a 60 ml bottle. Both contain the same formulation – Montelukast 4 mg with Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride 2.5 mg per 5 ml – so the choice is simply about the length of the course prescribed.
